Hello, my name is Michelle. I am 23 years old and Reside just ten minutes from the grand capital of North Carolina. I am an amateur writer and bookworm with a love of classic novels. My days consist of chasing a toddler around, binge watching Netflix shows and eating too much. What can I say about Derek other then he is the best and not because that’s he’s last name. All bad jokes aside he is always looking for the next big thing to do. Evan if it only means hes doing it for fun. none like to meet new people more then Derek, He often says he just loves to hear the fascinating story’s people have to talk about, But you could always ask him yourself he’s an open book.

From Knocked Loose to The Beach Boys to Run the Jewels, I enjoy a huge variety of music. Starting my concert journeys at 10, I’ve gone from being just a fan to playing shows, and then to going on tour as a merch guy. But at an I Set My Friends on Fire show, I decided to see if I could interview them. They said yes! From then on I’ve been taking every opportunity I can to interview the bands I and others love. I am currently enrolled as a graphics art student.
Hi, I am Alex Rothenberg from Long Island. I recently graduated Baruch College with a degree in Journalism. Anyways… those hobbies include; playing in my progressive rock band, writing, web design, craft beer and The Office.
Your typical, unorthodox twenty-one year old. Over dramatic even before her days of small time acting, Ashley can usually be found jamming to 90’s boy bands and procrastinating the ever growing list of to-dos
My name is Dexter Adams though I go by DJ. I am from Dayton Ohio and I currently attend Ohio Wesleyan University. I play the trombone in my college’s trombone and I enjoy taking martial arts at a local Tae Kwon Do studio. I enjoy writing in my free time, thus spurning my desire to pursue a degree for creative writing with a Spanish minor. I hope to go to grad school after my graduation and, eventually, become a novelist.
Writing and music are two of my many passions. Whether it be listening to or making music, it has a way of changing people. Whether it be classic rock, ’90s grunge, or today’s scene I’ll give anything a shot.
Hello there, my name is Kyle Kohner from San Bernardino, Calif. and I am a current journalism student at Biola University. I am a self-proclaimed film buff and a music addict which translates into my passion for writing. I am a huge ‘90s rap aficionado who will argue Tupac is the greatest rapper of that era over the Notorious B.I.G. Aside from being a huge rap fan, I am an avid dream pop and new wave consumer and can be found listening to the likes of M83, The Cure and New Order.
Hey there! My name’s Max, and I hold up the more extreme end of music here at Amped Sound. I’m from Long Beach, California, and fell in love with music from an early age due to growing up in a home full of instruments and tunes. I’m just about done with my four years at Biola University in La Mirada, California, from where I will leave with a BA in Journalism. When I’m not loving my dog to death, I spend a little too much time on the internet finding new bands and obsessing over obscure music genres. From dungeon synth to power violence, I’m game for anything! Just give me a cup of black coffee and I’m all set!
Just your unaverage girl obsessed with roller coasters as much as bands. Current graduating chemistry major at Meredith College, so I’m living in a perpetual state of sleep deprivation. I spend a good portion of my paychecks on band merch, so it’s rare to catch me out of a band shirt. If I don’t talk about My Chemical Romance at least five times a day, something is wrong because I still love them to death. My main goal in life is to live with my dog, Phaser (affectionately named after TBS’s “Set Phasers to Stun”), as he is the light of my life. During my free time, I’m either playing Runescape or watching Netflix (usually re-watching The Office). My favorite bands include My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Pierce the Veil, Bring Me the Horizon, Fall Out Boy, and Twenty One Pilots.
While his interests diverged, exploring alternative sources of creative expression, namely: literature, film, and theatrical arts, music was never far from his frame of reference. Once high-school graduation came to fruition, Nathan set-out for Nashville, Tennessee to begin college at Middle Tennessee State University. Starting as a music-production major, Nathan was also enrolled at Nashville State Community College where he earned his technical certificate in music technology, helming a burgeoning interest in the recording industry. After a summer-internship just south of Nashville at a local-recording studio known as Darkhorse, Nathan decided a paradigm-shift was in order as he pursued a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Once the transition was secure, Nathan sought to fuse his ever-growing knowledge of the world in music and recording with that of his journalistic skill-set.
